TRES CINEMATOGRAFÍA is a film, content and advertising production company, founded in Caracas – Venezuela in 2011.
It is the reunion of three paths that got together around the passion for telling stories and delivering them to the world.
TRES story began with Juan Antonio Díaz, Joe Torres and Marcel Rasquin. Three founding partners with more than 15 years of experience in the audiovisual field. With professional careers and studies abroad in prestigious international institutions, they returned to Venezuela to bet on their home country. This story continues as an unfinished script, with a group of talented producers, directors, editors, technical and artistic staff that makes up a creative community, writing their own story everyday and loudly shouting #SomosMásQueTres.
TRES is considered an integral production company. Its main activity is producing tv spots, films, series and short films for the national and international markets. Advertising projects (commercial and branded content) for film, cable and television, highlighting the production of spots for Adidas, Toyota, Ford, Ron Santa Teresa, Oreo, Twistos, Dewars, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Empresas Polar, Pepsi, Movistar, among others. And music videos for artists from the national and international markets such as Los Amigos Invisibles, Karina, Lasso, Famasloop and La Pequeña Revancha.
TRES was honored by “El Ojo de Iberoamérica” three years in a row, as “Best Production Company”, “Best Director” and “Best Tv Spot” in its local categories.
In its first year, TRES was awarded on 18 categories at the most prestigious Venezuelan advertising award (ANDA).
The “Ford Retroceso” campaign (JWT CCS) was finalist on the film category at Cannes 2012; The spot “Adidas Vinotinto Kaká” (DRAFTFCB CCS) was finalist in the film craft direction category at Cannes 2013. Also in 2013, TRES was nominated for a Latin Grammy for the music video “Más cerquita” by Famasloop.
TRES was responsible for the largest production service of the last ten years in Venezuela, “Point Break” (2015) and has a wide catalog of film productions (short films and motion pictures) in different stages, some already internationally recognized in Festivals such as Sundance Film Festival, Palm Spring Film Festival, Visions Du Reel, amongst others.

TRES CINEMATOGRAFÍA es una productora de cine, contenido y publicidad, fundada en Caracas – Venezuela a mediados del 2011. TRES es la vuelta a casa, es el reencuentro de tres caminos que se unieron en torno a la pasión por contar historias y entregarlas al mundo.
La historia de TRES comenzó con Juan Antonio Díaz, Joe Torres y Marcel Rasquin. Tres socios fundadores con más de 15 años de experiencia en el campo audiovisual. Con recorrido profesional y estudios en el exterior en prestigiosas instituciones internacionales, volvieron a Venezuela a apostar por lo propio. Pero esta historia continúa en gerundio, como un guion sin terminar, con un grupo de talentosos productores, directores, editores, personal técnico y artístico que conforman una comunidad creativa que escribe su propia historia y grita con fuerza que #SomosMásQueTres.
TRES se considera una productora integral. Su actividad principal es la producción de películas, series y cortometrajes para el mercado nacional e internacional. Proyectos publicitarios (comerciales y branded content) para cine, cable y televisión, resaltando la realización de piezas para Adidas, Toyota, Ford, Ron Santa Teresa, Oreo, Twistos, Dewars, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Empresas Polar, Pepsi, Movistar, entre otros. Y videos musicales para artistas del mercado nacional e internacional como Los Amigos Invisibles, Karina, Lasso, Famasloop y La Pequeña Revancha.
TRES fue honrada con “El Ojo de Iberoamérica” por tres años consecutivos, como “Mejor Productora”, “Mejor Director” y “Mejor Comercial” en sus categorías locales.
En el primer año TRES fue reconocida en 18 categorías en el festival publicitario más prestigioso de Venezuela (ANDA).
La campaña “Ford Retroceso” (JWT CCS) fue finalista en la categoría Film de Cannes 2012; La pieza “Adidas Vinotinto Kaká” (DRAFTFCB CCS) resultó finalista en la categoría Film craft direction en Cannes 2013. También en el 2013, TRES fue nominada a un Latin Grammy por el video musical de la canción “Más cerquita” de Famasloop.
TRES fue responsable del servicio de producción más grande de los últimos diez años en Venezuela, “Point Break” (2015) y cuenta con un amplio catálogo de producciones cinematográficas en distintas etapas, algunas ya reconocidas internacionalmente en Festivales como Sundance Film Festival, Palm Spring Film Festival, Visions Du Reel, entre otros.
